The largest traveling exhibition of animatronic dinosaurs will visit Lanzarote next Saturday, December 22, the date on which this prehistoric exhibition will be inaugurated under a large tent installed in the Fairground, where it will occupy an area of more than 1,500 square meters until Sunday, January 6.
This traveling exhibition, which has toured more than a dozen European countries (Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Norway, Poland or Romania, among others), will feature about thirty new life-size pieces, some of them animatronic, which will simulate the appearance and behavior of dinosaurs. "Visitors will be able to see the latest technological advances. The dinosaurs we exhibit move and even breathe!" exclaims Juan Comín, head of the exhibition. "It's a real Jurassic Park," adds Comín.
Dinosaurs Tour will exhibit Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Protoceratops, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus, Diplodocus and the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex in real size, among others. In addition to the pieces, there will be didactic projections about the way of life of this prehistoric fauna and there will be surprises.
The little ones are amazed. Their movements are so realistic that some boys and girls think they are real
Natural habitat
"We combine entertainment and fun for the little ones, along with a broad pedagogical factor so that they learn while marveling at these giants," says the organizer. To make the exhibition more impressive and real, the natural habitats of these magnificent pieces will be recreated in scenes composed of vegetation and scenery designed according to scientific studies on the characteristics of the earth at that time.
The exhibition will feature informative and descriptive panels with scientific details about the geological eras, theories about the extinction of dinosaurs and data on the recovery of fossil remains.
