The Assembly Hall of the Blas Cabrera Felipe Institute hosted this Thursday the twentieth edition of the Kangaroo Mathematical Contest, aimed at students from 1st ESO to 2nd Baccalaureate, and which aims to encourage the taste for the study of mathematics, discovering its playful sense.
This international competition stands out for the number of participants (6,500,000 this year), because the tests are similar in all countries and because it is held on the same day.
Once the contest was over, in which 270 students from Lanzarote participated, the prizes were awarded to the winners of the previous edition, whose first five prizes were courtesy of the company Informática Lanzarote, which collaborated with the contribution of state-of-the-art technological articles.
