The number of deaths in the Canary Islands with coronavirus has risen to nine people, two more than the figure offered on Saturday morning by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

With data closed at 8:00 p.m., in the Canary Islands there are 414 accumulated cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), which is 66 more than on Friday when 348 cases were recorded.

Regarding the deaths, one occurred at the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital, in Tenerife, and the other at the Insular-Materno Infantil University Hospital Complex, in Gran Canaria. Both cases were elderly people with previous pathologies.
