The Canary Islands already has 96 cases of monkeypox, after adding another two

The archipelago maintains a suspected and another probable case under study in Gran Canaria, both pending confirmation

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has confirmed two new cases of monkeypox, with no new cases under study being registered in the last day.

Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 96 confirmed cases, of which 65 have been detected in Gran Canaria, 29 in Tenerife and two in Fuerteventura. In addition, there is also a probable and another suspected case under study in Gran Canaria, both pending confirmation.

All active cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation receiving follow-up by Primary Care.
