The Canary Islands adds 47 new cases of Covid in the last day

The Canary Islands added 47 new cases of coronavirus and no deaths on Tuesday, as announced by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 95,387 with 1,086 active, of which 32 are admitted to the ICU and 105 remain hospitalized

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 21.46 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 48.62 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 18 cases with a total of 557 active cases; Gran Canaria has 21 more than the previous day and 258 active. Lanzarote adds eight new cases and 102 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura does not add new cases and has 149 active cases. La Palma does not add new cases either and has 12 active cases; El Hierro does not register new positives, and its assets are eight. For its part, La Gomera does not add cases either, so it remains without active cases.

To date, a total of 2,152,889 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,335 correspond to the previous day..
