Canary Islands adds this Thursday 3,276 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last hours the death of seven people between 51 and 98 years old has been reported. Of the total number of deaths, four were counted in Tenerife and three in Gran Canaria, and all had previous pathologies.
The Archipelago has already exceeded the barrier of 3,000,000 diagnostic tests carried out during the entire pandemic, after the 12,542 corresponding to Wednesday. Specifically, a total of 3,008,150 tests have been carried out since the health crisis began.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 1,248.01 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 2,792.02 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 1,069 cases with a total of 44,803 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 1,548 more than the previous day and 35,994 active cases. Lanzarote adds 201 new cases with 6,518 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 179 new cases and 5,356 active cases. La Palma adds 207 new positives, so it has 1,693 active cases. La Gomera adds 17 new cases, so its active cases are 166 and El Hierro adds 55 new positives, so it has 281 active cases.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 237,267, with 94,812 active cases, of which 80 are admitted to the ICU and 586 remain hospitalized
