The advance of the lava threatens to bury up to a thousand homes
The lava advances with force and, after starting in the pine forest area and saving the neighborhood of El Paraíso by channeling through a ravine, the devastation already buries up to 200 of those private homes, vacation villas and farms. Now the lava tongue is dangerously approaching one of the most inhabited nuclei on the outskirts of the municipality of Los Llanos: Todoque.
The advance of the lava flow predicts that it will reach the sea along the coast of Tazacorte. When that happens, it is expected to have destroyed up to a thousand homes, as reported by the newspaper LA PROVINCIA.
