The Ministry of Health has reported this Wednesday a new suspected case of monkeypox in Lanzarote.
In addition, the archipelago has added four new positives in smallpox since this Tuesday. Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 66 confirmed cases, of which 43 were detected in Gran Canaria and 23 in Tenerife.
All cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation receiving follow-up by Primary Care.
The Ministry of Health currently has five cases under study for possible diagnosis of monkeypox, one probable and four suspected.
