The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands communicates four new cases and five under study, four probable and one suspected, for possible diagnosis of monkeypox since yesterday.
This means that there are a total of 45 confirmed cases since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert, of which 32 were detected in Gran Canaria and 13 in Tenerife.
One of the patients is admitted to the Doctor Negrín Hospital in Gran Canaria, while the rest are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation.
