The Canary Islands adds a total of 625 new cases of coronavirus this Monday. In addition, in the last hours the death of five people between 77 and 92 years old has been reported, three in Gran Canaria, one in Tenerife and another in Fuerteventura, this last case is pending validation by the General Directorate of Public Health. All had previous pathologies and were in hospital admission.
Until this Monday, a total of 3,094,987 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,608 correspond to Sunday.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 476.76 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 1,422.18 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 230 cases with a total of 47,403 cases epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 327 more than the previous day and 42,970 active. Lanzarote adds 38 new cases with 4,078 epidemiologically active. Fuerteventura has 15 new cases and 6,306 active. La Palma adds 4 new positives, so it has 943 active. El Hierro adds 8 new positives, so it has 154 active cases and La Gomera adds 3 new cases, so its assets are 127.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 256,704 with 101,981 active, of which 93 are admitted to the ICU and 627 remain hospitalized.
