The Ministry of Education is going to propose prohibiting the use of mobile phones in Primary school during school hours, while in Secondary school it will only be used "when the teacher proposes it because their pedagogical project requires it".
This was stated by the Minister of Education, Pilar Alegría, in a press conference at the end of the meeting of the Sectoral Conference on Education, held this Wednesday.
Alegría specified that she will analyze this issue with the autonomous communities and with the School Council next January, although she has stated that the proposal has been welcomed by all the Education ministers present at the meeting.
