The negotiating committees of Coalición Canaria and the Partido Popular are going to hold their "first official meeting" this Thursday, June 1, after the results of May 28, according to the nationalist party in a press release.

Coalición Canaria has become the second political force in the Autonomous Community, with 19 seats, and the Partido Popular the third, with 15 seats. Only the PSOE is ahead with 23 seats, two less than in the 2019 elections. If they reach an agreement, they would reach 34 seats and would need the support of Casimiro Curbelo's party, Agrupación Socialista Gomera (ASG), with three seats, Vox with four or Nueva Canarias with five.

The negotiating committees of Coalición Canaria and the Partido Popular will hold tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., in the Grupo
Nacionalista Canario
the first official meeting since they were appointed by both political forces.

At the end of the meeting, the national secretary of Organization of Coalición Canaria, David Toledo, the general campaign coordinator, José Miguel Barragán, and the secretary of Coalición Canaria of La Palma, Nieves Lady Barreto, members of the negotiating committee of the Canarian nationalists will appear before the media.
