Daily cases of Covid-19 have increased again to 602 in the last day in the Canary Islands, in which five deaths have also been recorded. Two of the deaths occurred in Gran Canaria - a 73-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman - and the other three in Tenerife - two 73 and 76-year-old men and an 81-year-old woman. According to the Ministry of Health, the five deceased suffered from previous pathologies and remained in hospital.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands is this Wednesday at 177.53 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 422.94 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 233 cases today, Gran Canaria 301, Fuerteventura 40, Lanzarote 20, La Palma 7, El Hierro one and La Gomera none.
The data reported on this day represent a decrease of 198 positives compared to last Wednesday, when 800 new infections were reported, but an increase compared to the previous days.
