The Canary Islands has registered 244 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago amounts to 90,888, while the deaths rise to 918 by adding two deaths in Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Of the total cases, 14,245 are active (-155), of which 85 are admitted to the ICU (-4), 390 remain hospitalized (-1) and 13,770 are in their homes (-150). In addition, 397 people have been discharged in the last hours, so that 75,725 Canarians have overcome the disease so far in the pandemic.
As for the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at seven days in the Canary Islands, it drops to 81.39 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days decreases to 196.24 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,973,971 PCR tests have been carried out in the islands --5,446 in the last 24 hours--, of which 118,222 were positive, which represents 5.97 percent.
By islands, Tenerife adds 131 positives, accumulating 43,735 cases, of which 8,415 are epidemiologically active, 520 have died and 34,800 have overcome the disease; Gran Canaria has 34,710 accumulated (+67), of which 5,328 are active, 314 have died (+1) and 29,068 have been discharged.
For its part, Lanzarote adds 14 positives, with 6,526 accumulated, of which 184 are active, while it has registered 50 deaths and 6,293 have overcome the disease; and Fuerteventura has 4,015 accumulated cases (+25), of which 262 are active, 16 have died (+1) and 3,737 have been discharged.
La Palma adds six cases in the last day, so it has 1,067 accumulated, of which 34 are active, 14 have died and 1,019 have been discharged.
Finally, El Hierro has an accumulated of 443 by notifying three new infections, of which eleven are active, four have died and 428 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera has an accumulated of 388 cases (+3), of which eleven are active, one has died and 379 have been discharged.
