Canary Islands registers 115 new infections and no deaths in the last 24 hours

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days is located in the Canary Islands in the 39.29 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days is in the 82.08 cases

The Canary Islands has registered 115 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total of accumulated cases in the islands already rises to 54,529 with 2,553 active, of which 61 are admitted to the ICU and 223 remain hospitalized, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.

Likewise, no death has been reported with respect to Friday, so the total number of deaths in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the pandemic remains at 757, of which 420 have been in Tenerife; 265 in Gran Canaria; 48 in Lanzarote; 13 in Fuerteventura; 6 in La Palma; 4 in El Hierro, and 1 in La Gomera.

The Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days is located in the Canary Islands in the 39.29 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is in the 82.08 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 1,092,470 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 2,214 correspond to the last 24 hours.

By islands, Tenerife adds 66 new infections with a total of 23,747 accumulated cases and 1,663 cases active epidemiologically; Gran Canaria has 22,159 accumulated cases, 26 more than the previous day, and 645 active; Lanzarote adds 22 new cases with 5,197 accumulated and 204 active epidemiologically, and Fuerteventura does not add new infections and has 2,280 accumulated cases and 18 active.

La Palma adds a new case and has 542 accumulated and 11 active cases; El Hierro does not add any case either, so its accumulated rises to 370 and has 7 active cases. The same happens with La Gomera, which does not register new infections and its accumulated remains at 232, with 4 active.
