Canary Islands adds two new cases of monkeypox

The archipelago accumulates 62 positives and seven under study, of which four cases are probable and three suspected

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands communicates two new cases and four under study for possible diagnosis of monkeypox since this Monday.

Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 62 confirmed cases, of which 41 were detected in Gran Canaria and 21 in Tenerife. All cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation.

The Ministry is studying seven cases, four probable and three suspected, all of them in Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
