Canary Islands adds two new cases of monkeypox since Tuesday

The archipelago has recorded a total of 94 positives and three under study since the beginning of the health alert

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has notified two new cases of monkeypox and one under study since Tuesday.

Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 94 confirmed cases, of which 64 were detected in Gran Canaria, 28 in Tenerife and two in Fuerteventura. In addition, there are currently three probable cases pending confirmation, two in Gran Canaria and one in Tenerife.

All active cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation, receiving follow-up from Primary Care.
