The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands communicates seven new cases and three under study for possible diagnosis of monkeypox since Friday.
Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there are 60 confirmed cases, of which 40 were detected in Gran Canaria and 20 in Tenerife. All cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation.
The Ministry of Health currently has six cases under study, five probable and one suspected, all of them in Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
