Canary Islands adds 101 new cases of Covid in the last day

The Canary Islands has added a total of 101 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 97,447 with 1,129 active, of which 15 are admitted to the ICU and 99 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, no deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the Canary Islands.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 25.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 52.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 43 cases with a total of 530 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 36 more than the previous day and 446 active. Lanzarote adds 16 new cases with 67 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has six new cases and 52 active. La Palma, without new positives, remains at 25 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its assets are two. La Gomera does not notify new cases either and its assets are two.

Until this Wednesday, a total of 2,261,852 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,091 correspond to Tuesday.
