Canarias has registered 91 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the islands rises to 53,735 in the archipelago, while the number of deaths rises to 747 deaths, after adding six deaths --four in Tenerife and two in Gran Canaria--, according to the data that the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Executive advances daily after 2:00 p.m.
Thus, of the total cases, 2,895 are active (+48), of which 72 are admitted to the ICU (no variation), 252 remain hospitalized (-1) and 2,571 are at home (+49). In addition, 50,093 people have already overcome the disease in the islands after being discharged 37 in the last hours.
As for the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days in Canarias, it falls to 39.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days it drops to 84.93 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 1,074,881 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 57,163 have tested positive, representing 5.32 percent of the total.
By islands, Tenerife adds 61 new infections with a total of 23,306 accumulated cases, of which 1,909 are epidemiologically active, 415 have died (+4) and 20,982 have overcome the disease; while Gran Canaria has 21,953 accumulated cases (+10), of which 807 are active, 256 have died (+2) and 20,886 have been discharged.
Lanzarote, meanwhile, accumulates 5,073 (+17), of which 139 are epidemiologically active, 48 have died and 4,886 have been discharged; Fuerteventura has 2,272 accumulated cases (+2), of which 18 are active, 13 have died and 2,241 have overcome the disease.
La Palma, meanwhile, adds a new chaos with an accumulated 535, of which five are active, six have died and 524 have overcome the disease; El Hierro continues with an accumulated 363, of which 13 remain active, four have died and 346 have been discharged.
La Gomera also has no new cases and accumulates 231, of which there are three active, one person has died and 227 have overcome the virus.
