Next Saturday, February 1, Telde, in Gran Canaria, "will witness a key moment for Canarian nationalist politics" with the celebration of the First Canarian National Tagoror of Canarian Liberation.

This event will bring together more than 40 representatives from Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, where the organization has established island bodies.

In addition, "we will have the participation of various independent municipal political organizations, specially invited to this meeting, as well as representatives of trade union organizations and groups of small business owners, thus strengthening the collective commitment in favor of the progress of our land," they declare.

A meeting to chart the future

The Tagoror is conceived "as a unique opportunity to strengthen unity, share ideas and define the foundations of a more just and prosperous Canary Islands." During the day, five key presentations will be developed that will address the fundamental pillars of our political action:
Education: Proposals to guarantee a public, quality education system adapted to the needs of the Canarian people.
Health: Plans to reinforce public health resources, eliminating inequalities and guaranteeing equitable access on all islands.
Social Welfare: Strategies to combat poverty, social exclusion and promote a dignified life for all people.
Ideological and Political Line: Reflection on the values and principles that consolidate Canarian Liberation as a modern nationalist political movement close to the citizens.
2025 Political Strategy: Definition of our political and electoral goals, with the purpose of becoming a decisive force for the self-government of the Canary Islands.

Several colleagues will present basic documents that will serve as a starting point to delve into these areas, with an eye on our National Congress scheduled for December 2025.

More than a meeting, a movement for change

"The First Canarian National Tagoror will be more than a day of debate, it will be an act of coexistence, exchange of ideas and reaffirmation of our commitment to the future of the Canary Islands," they point out.

"In a context of global and local challenges, Canarian Liberation is committed to building a Canarian political alternative that puts our people and our territory at the center of decisions," they continue.

"The presence of representatives from different islands and social sectors underlines the diversity and breadth of this project. From the defense of identity and territory to the search for a sustainable economic model, our movement wants to inspire hope and illusion in every corner of the islands," they say.

"We invite you to follow this historic event and to be part of a project that firmly believes in the capacity of people to transform our land and build a future of self-government, dignity and well-being for the Canary Islands," they conclude.
