A resident of Playa Honda has contacted La Voz to report that there are vehicles that park badly, "on zebra crossings, on pedestrian crossings and street mouths invading the road, hindering traffic" and "endangering" pedestrians, "without being fined" by the Local Police.
"Every day, whether day or night, the absence of civic-mindedness shines in the streets of Playa Honda", denounces this citizen, who considers that to avoid this "the Local Police should be there". "And I say should, because it is not", he says.
In fact, this man points out that "on a couple of occasions" he has called the Local Police to report the infractions without them being punished. "On one first occasion, he assures that "the following morning" there were still "the same cars without any of them being fined" and in the second he points out that the agents "passed by".
"Then I called them and told them that if they had passed by the street and had seen the badly parked vehicles and their answer was yes. I replied that if it was not finable, to which they replied that they would pass again to look, and not even God passed there", says this neighbor. "I think it's a disgrace, since in other municipalities infractions are punished and they take them to the letter as it should be, and here they only dedicate themselves to strolling", he criticizes.
