Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife visited Valinox Novás on Saturday afternoon, a rival that is also fighting to get out of the bottom of the standings of the Men's Silver Division of Honor and the two teams arrived tied with 6 points.

The Galician team gave no options to San José Obrero throughout the match, showing more intensity in all facets of the game and aware of the importance of the two points that were at stake, to end up winning by 31 to 26.

From the beginning, a more motivated Valinox Novás was seen on the court, supported by its unconditional fans who filled the pavilion and did not stop cheering, so Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife could only weather the storm in the first few minutes. The Lanzarote team had the option of leveling the score, with a quick counterattack in which Daniel Csanyi did not take advantage of Rafa Robayna's good assist.

The intensity of one and the other was noticeable in each of the actions. The Brazilian Denys Alessandro Da Silva executed a seven-meter action, Javi Santana stopped the shot and the Valinox Novás player himself picked up the rebound in the face of the defense's passivity. In the middle of the first half the difference was already seven goals, and Germán Hermida from the right wing put the maximum income for his team (13-5).

Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife could not find a way to get into the game, with a thick attack and a defense that gave the opponent many facilities. With the result of 19 to 11, the first 30 minutes of the game came to an end, a score that left the game very uphill for the Lanzarote team.

In the second half there was a timid reaction from Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, although in front of them was a Valinox Novás that perfectly managed the advantage it had acquired in the first half of the match. The Lanzarote team managed to reduce the difference to five goals, after a goal scored from the outside by Ander Iriarte (26-21).

Despite the attacking plays they had to get only four goals down, the reaction of Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife did not arrive and Valinox Novás ended up sentencing the match in the final minutes. With the result of 31 to 26 the match came to an end.

The defeat leaves Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife in the penultimate position of the standings, although only one point away from leaving the direct relegation zone. The next rival will be ID Energy Caserío, a match that will be played on Sunday at 12:00 noon at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion.
