Unión Sur Yaiza played its last game of the season and closed its participation in the Second Federation. In a game where nothing was at stake, the southerners tied at three goals against UB Conquense, in an open match with chances at both goals. Matías, Malick and Emiliano Trovento, were the authors of the goals of the southerners in the closing of the campaign.
The match was quite open from the beginning, and in the middle of the first half Conquense achieved a three-goal advantage. In the 23rd minute, Antonio Fernández finished off a precise cross from Jairo Carcaba from the right into the back of the net. And just three minutes later, Liam hammered a loose ball in the vicinity of the area.
Unión Sur Yaiza did not give up and before the break was able to equalize the score. In the 30th minute, Matías received a ball on the left to beat the visiting goalkeeper with a crossed shot. The tie came in the 38th minute, with a shot from Malick from inside the area. A first half that ended with a shot to the post by Nuha.
Conquense would take the lead again in the first minutes of the second half. An inside ball from José Álvarez was taken advantage of by Joan Monterde to beat Adrián at the near post. Just nine minutes later came the equalizing goal for Unión Sur Yaiza, with Emiliano Trovento picking up a ball in the vicinity of the area and shooting accurately to beat Álvaro Hormiga.
The chances followed one another until the end of the match, with Unión Sur Yaiza having the clearest ones to take the three points that were at stake. A free kick from Pablo Margallo crashed into the post, and minutes later Margallo with a powerful shot sent the ball to the crossbar.
With the score tied at three goals, the match came to an end, with Unión Sur Yaiza finishing the season as penultimate classified and unable to achieve permanence in the Second Federation.
