UD Lanzarote missed two points against UD Gran Tarajal, with the equalizer from the Majoreros coming in the extra time of the second half. The Rojillos took the lead through Gonzalo Di Renzo in the first half, and in the second half, they were unable to close out the match while playing with one more player on the field. The locals equalized the score in a set-piece play, taking advantage of a defensive lapse.

UD Lanzarote had more presence on the field in the first half of the match, winning all the disputes and being more intense than their rival. The first warning from the visitors came in the 12th minute, with a shot from Ayoze Pérez from the edge of the area that went into Lucas's hands.

The biggest threat from Gran Tarajal came from Sandro and Celes, players who were closely marked by the Lanzarote defenders. It was precisely Celes who tried with a play down the right wing, sending in a cross-shot that did not find the three posts of the goal defended by Ruymán.

Around the half-hour mark, UD Lanzarote took the lead. Ayoze Pérez tried to play a long ball to Gonzalo, the pass was intercepted by Héctor, and the ball ended up going out of play to the fright of the local fans. In the corner kick, Ayoze Pérez put the ball into the near post, and Gonzalo Di Renzo with a good header opened the scoring.

Before the break, UD Gran Tarajal had their best chance in this first half. Sandro collected a ball in the vicinity of the area, shot with his left foot looking for the base of the post, and was met by Ruymán's hand to send the ball out for a corner kick. The score was 0-1 at the end of the first 45 minutes.

The second half began with a chance for UD Lanzarote. In the 3rd minute, Ayoze Pérez took another corner kick, Leo headed the ball at the far post, and the ball went to the side of the net. Gran Tarajal adjusted their lines in this second half and generated more danger.

The response came from Celes with a play down the right wing, he won the end line, and his pass did not find a finisher in the small area. And shortly after, Sandro mounted a quick counterattack after recovering a ball in the wide area of the field, and again his shot found a good save from Ruymán.

UD Gran Tarajal had to play the last half hour of the match with one less player on the field, with the debutant Guille Vázquez seeing the second yellow card for a hard tackle on Dani. The expulsion, instead of benefiting UD Lanzarote, harmed them, with the match being more open than ever and turning into a back-and-forth affair in the final minutes.

UD Lanzarote was reaching the vicinity of the area defended by Lucas with great ease, but they were unable to finish those actions, causing the locals to quickly go on the attack when they recovered the ball. Aythami Yebri had the chance to seal the victory in the 85th minute, with a cross from Leo from the left wing, he controlled the ball badly at the far post and did not shoot when he was unmarked.

The equalizing goal came two minutes into added time and in a set-piece play. The UD Lanzarote defense was not focused on the marking, the ball was not blocked by Ruymán as it passed through the small area, and Tana finished unmarked at the far post.

The players of UD Lanzarote had a face of circumstances, seeing how two points slipped away in a match they had controlled. The draw leaves the Rojillo team in sixth position with 26 points, and next matchday they will face UD Villa de Santa Brígida.
