UD Lanzarote took the official photo of the 18/19 season this Thursday afternoon. In the traditional snapshot are all the players of the first team, the coaching staff and the president of the conejera entity. The club wanted to pay tribute to the island's most universal artist, César Manrique, with a skirt in which it is remembered that this year marks his centenary and can remain in everyone's memory.
After the official photo, a meeting was held at the club's headquarters to which all the members of the board of directors attended to agree, among other things, on the steps to follow to initiate the electoral process to create the new board of directors and to finalize the function of the current management board. At the meeting it was agreed to hold an Extraordinary General Assembly on June 3 to initiate the electoral process and then call elections, which guarantees the future of the entity.
UD Lanzarote is calling on all members to stop by the club's headquarters to regularize their situation and have full powers to vote or elect in the event of submitting a candidacy.
Next Sunday, UD Lanzarote receives CD El Cotillo at the Ciudad Deportiva, a match that will begin at the usual time (12:00 hrs.) and in which it is expected that the best fans in the Canary Islands will be seen again cheering on the team.
