Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife continues to cling to the category, fighting tooth and nail for the possibility of achieving permanence in the Men's Silver Honor Division. In a fairly even match against Club Cisne Colegio Los Sauces, the men's team from San José Obrero never gave up, to end up winning 30 to 29 against the Galicians.
The first minutes of the match were tentative on the playing court, with Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife having a two-goal lead after goals scored by Javi Aragón and Rafa Robayna. The bad news for the locals in this initial stretch of the match was the two exclusions suffered by Mauro Jaureguiberry.
In the middle of the first half, the locals recovered the two-goal lead, which forced the Cisne coach to call a timeout (8-6).
