Renault Juan Toledo Lanzarote San José Obrero played their first home game in the Silver Honor Division, with great support from the many fans who gathered at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion to witness their team's first victory in the national category.

Oviedo Balonmano Femenino was a very complicated rival who made it clear from the beginning that they were going to fight to place the two points in their suitcase back to Asturias, taking the lead on the scoreboard from the first moment with a pressing game that prevented the Titerroy team from feeling comfortable on the court.

At 15 minutes of play, the difference of 5 to 9 favorable to the Asturians forced David Betancort to call a time-out after which his team managed to equalize the match with a partial score of 5 to 1, which led the visiting club to request their time-out when there were still 10 minutes left to finish the first half.

The last minutes, despite Renault Juan Toledo Lanzarote taking the lead, served to wake up the rival who, with a partial score of 1 to 9, managed to close the score at halftime with a 7-goal difference in their favor, 12 to 19.

In the second half, Renault Juan Toledo Lanzarote San José Obrero took better advantage of the opportunities that the match offered. Perhaps due to the favorable difference for the Oviedo team or due to the continuous exclusions suffered due to the strength in defensive actions or even due to the heat prevailing in the Titerroy Pavilion, the visiting players began to defend a little closer to their goal, thus facilitating the arrivals of the Lanzarote team.

As time went by, "the panthers of Titerroy" began to believe in the tie, encouraged by a deafening fans who never stopped encouraging them until they carried them on their shoulders. The 7-goal difference at halftime was reduced as the minutes passed. With 6 and a half minutes remaining, the score reflected 22 to 24, which led the local coach to call a time-out to try to conclude the comeback.

The return to the court meant 23 to 24, with a goal from Nabila Harchaouin, with the visiting coach calling a time-out, who was beginning to see the result they still had in their favor in danger. There were still just over 5 minutes of heart attack left.

Diana Martín made it 25-25 shortly after, and Nabila did the same with the 26-26 tie, matching the Asturian goal that had served to put the peninsular team ahead again. The Titerroy Pavilion "exploded" when Nabila Harchaouin managed to score a shot from 7 meters. There were 2 minutes left and the score was 27 to 26 for the locals. The visiting bench called a time-out but nothing changed, the local defense had conspired to prevent the score from changing and was achieving it. Once they got the ball, the local bench called a time-out to stop the match with 11 seconds remaining until the end of the match, which would conclude with the aforementioned score and with a thunderous ovation from the fans present.
