The climatic and sanitary situation prevented Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" from preparing for the clash against Azkoitia Azpeitia ISB, taking into account that they had a match on Thursday and that the sports facilities were closed on Friday. Thus, 'coldly', the Canary team traveled to Guipúzcoa to play the second game of the second round, making it clear from the beginning that the match was going to be very uphill.

Aday Villalba was forced to ask for up to two timeouts in the first quarter in order to prevent the Guipuzcoan team from running away on the scoreboard, but he was unable to achieve it. A very bad first period for the Lanzarote team, with many defensive imbalances and little success in scoring, allowed the locals to leave with a partial score of 27 to 10.

The Lanzarote team tried to be more competitive, but they ran into a rival very well positioned on the court, practically without fissures in their defense and without giving options to the Tías team, which despite making a more even clash from the first 10 minutes, saw how little by little the match was slipping away.

Tiredness due to the situation, added to the trip, gradually diminished the capacity of Aday Villalba's players who, despite giving everything on the court, was not enough, and ended up losing by 88 to 57.

Now the concern is to return home. The expedition is now looking at the snowfalls in the Iberian Peninsula with the passage of the storm Filomena and hopes not to have problems getting to the Bilbao airport tomorrow morning from where they will fly to Lanzarote, but that will be another chapter of this adventure.
