CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen has started with a victory at the Municipal de Tías against the Cantabrian Camargo74 Propenor Repsol (25-21) in its new journey in the national Silver Division.

The Tiñosera squad proved superior to the Cantabrians at all times, defending without excessive difficulties a slight advantage achieved thanks to good starts in both halves and did not see the score in danger during the match except for a small drop in the meridian of the second half that they skillfully solved.

If we add to the league debut a pre-season with only one match, everything pointed to physical problems in the second half that did not appear. Toño Cedrés' work in the physical aspect paid off and the yellows withstood the pressure and the demands of the Camarguesas who wanted to but couldn't.

Unexpected prominence also for the posts that were hit on numerous occasions to the despair of both squads and relief for the goalkeepers.
