Lanzarote's César Manrique Airport has recorded a total of 704,779 passengers between January and November, which represents a 4.5% increase compared to last year (673,896).
Each of the months between January and November saw an increase in fares from mainland airports to Lanzarote compared to last year.
The months with the highest peninsular influx were those of summer with 71,892 arrivals in June, 83,551 in July, 82,581 in August, and 65,427 in September.
41.7% of those who flew to Lanzarote from the mainland between January and November did so from Madrid Barajas. In absolute numbers, this was 294,402 people.
The Andalusian airports, for their part, served 134,638 people to Lanzarote, which represents 19.1% of the total.
Next, from El Prat in Barcelona, 18.5% of the total passengers flew, 130,425 passengers.
Between Lanzarote and Bilbao airport, 59,080 people flew, 8.3% of all passengers who flew to Lanzarote from domestic flights.
Flights to Galicia (6.6%) and the Valencian Community (4.7%) served 46,563 and 33,382 travelers between January and November, respectively.
Finally, there were just over 6,000 travelers with Asturias airport and two charter flights from the Balearic Islands
