The “Billabong Quemao Class”, in its seventh edition, will once again bring together the best international and national surfers and bodyboarders on the coast of Lanzarote. With an invitational nature, it will bring together a total of 64 athletes to face what is the most impressive and powerful wave in Europe, the Quemao wave.

The competition has not established a fixed date for its celebration, and the organization is waiting for the waves to reach their optimal conditions, the most radical, which in this way, guarantee an unparalleled spectacle. The warning format for the proximity of waves is based on a color-coded alert system.

The orange alert, which is the one currently in place, refers to the waiting period. In the case of the yellow alert, it will be given with an event attempt, that is, when the conditions may become ideal. Finally, the green alert will be given with the confirmation of dates.
