The twenty-ninth edition of the Spanish Women's Junior Basketball Championship has had a name of its own. Gran Canaria 2014 La Caja de Canarias tried to make Iris Junio debut in the first team, a circumstance that was not possible due to the refusal of the Spanish Basketball Federation for not having reached the age of 15.
