The twenty-ninth edition of the Spanish Women's Junior Basketball Championship has had a name of its own. Iris Junio, player of Gran Canaria 2014 La Caja de Canaria, monopolized all the individual titles of best player, top scorer, rebounder and passer. Many of the players who have been in the Spanish Championship in a few dates will be the great stars of national women's basketball, although all eyes are currently on Iris Junio. And as a culmination she received the title of best player of the twenty-ninth edition of the Spanish Women's Junior Basketball Championship.

Gran Canaria 2014 La Caja de Canarias tried to make Iris Junio debut in the first team, a circumstance that was not possible due to the refusal of the Spanish Basketball Federation for not having reached the age of 15. A few weeks ago she was chosen as the best player of the Spanish Cadet Championship, a competition in which the Gran Canaria team also won the title of champions.
