The Haría City Council, in collaboration with C. D. Sandez Competición, is organizing a rally co-drivers course in the municipality, aimed at the entire population. The initiative will take place on February 22 and 23, with the aim of providing new skills to people interested in the world of motorsport and promoting this sport.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, guarantees the City Council's commitment to holding this type of event, "which highlights the importance of this sport in the municipality", such as the Haría Hill Climb competition, in which the driver Yeray Lemes was the winner of the 2024 edition.
In this line, he invites the population to join and participate in the workshop. The Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, assures that this course is an "excellent opportunity to acquire knowledge about the role of the co-driver in rally competitions." He also details that it is "a unique experience in a spectacular environment such as Haría."
The course will be taught by David Rivero and Ariday Bonilla, professional co-drivers in this discipline. The actions will begin on Saturday, February 22, from 09:00 to 21:00 hours, while on Sunday 23 the activities will be carried out from 08:30 to 17:00 hours.

With this type of initiative, the Council "reinforces its commitment to sport and the promotion of physical activity among citizens, offering dynamic and innovative activities."
In addition, the event has the support of various collaborating entities and companies, including Franquiz Automoción, Perfilan, Rotulaciones Pintadera, Automovilismo Lanzarote and Nazaret Hotels.
