The Spanish Championship of the J80 class will have to be resolved on the last day. The favorites of the competition have come back in the general classification and there is little difference between the first classified. The JJ Palmensis Islas Canarias has taken the lead at the end of the day. The boat skippered by Gustavo Martínez Doreste has made a great comeback.

There were difficulties in starting the first race of the day. A start that had to be repeated up to three times. The race was marked by a wind of around 15 knots of intensity, an optimal wind for this class of boats. The Hotel Princesa Yaiza of Rayco Tabares took the victory. The second place was for the ECC Viviendas of "Pichu Torcida" and third Una Mosca en mi Sopa of Luis Martínez.

The wind decreased in intensity in the second day of the day, blowing in the NNE direction. Conditions that benefited the JJ Palmensis Islas Canarias, taking the first place from the start. "Pichu" Torcida and Rayco Tabares were second and third respectively.

Gustavo Martínez Doreste repeated his triumph in the third and last regatta of the day. The second place was for El Fandango of Nano Negrín and third the Hotel Princesa Yaiza of Rayco Tabares.

The results of the second day have tightened the first positions of the general classification to the maximum. The leader is the JJ Palmensis Islas Canarias with 16 points, second is the Museo de Los Cetáceos of Alfredo Morales with 17 points, third is the Hotel Princesa Yaiza with 19 points. The fourth position of the general classification is shared by El Fandango of Nano Negrín and the ECC Viviendas of José María Torcida, with 21 points each.

The last day of the Spanish J80 Championship promises to be the most exciting. Two races will be held on Sunday, with the start of the first race at 11:00 am. At the conclusion of the two races, the awards ceremony will take place and have once again been designed by the Lanzarote artist Paco Curbelo.
