Gervasio Deferr, two-time Olympic champion in the vault specialty, will land in Lanzarote this Friday to participate in technical conferences aimed at the group of coaches of the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Club. This initiative has been organized by the Lanzarote club in collaboration with the Hesperia Puerto Calero Hotel.
The mayor of the Yaiza City Council, Ángel Domínguez, will travel to Puerto Calero to welcome the award-winning Spanish athlete and later participate in the informative conference that will be held at this hotel at 10:00 a.m.
Gervasio Deferr, together with the Catalan gymnastics coach, Víctor Cano, will put their knowledge and experience at the service of the coaches and monitors of the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Club. The conferences aim to improve training systems and techniques and thus improve the performance of athletes.
