Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" finished their Malaga "tour" by visiting ASISA Alhaurín de la Torre on Sunday morning, with the sole objective of achieving victory to make another statement in favor of salvation. A match corresponding to the 13th day of the Women's League 2 in which the Lanzarote team won by 48 to 67.

During the first minutes of the match, many inaccuracies were noted in attack by both teams, a circumstance that changed as the minutes passed in the Malaga team. The Lanzarote team got stuck in this facet thanks to the strong defense inflicted by their rival. A counterattack by the island team, after a ball steal by Yaiza Betancort, allowed Romina Rodríguez to score, with almost no time to continue, leaving the score 16 to 15, with a lot of work still to be done.

In the second quarter, the attack was even more stuck for both teams, with Jesús García calling a time-out to resolve the situation, when three minutes had passed and the score was 18 to 15. After returning to the court, Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" woke up and managed to take the lead on the scoreboard, even with 7 points in their favor, concluding the first half with a partial victory for the Lanzarote team by 22 to 29.

At the beginning of the third quarter, Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" showed their best version in defense, being lethal in attack. The differences on the scoreboard were gradually widening, forcing Iván Uroz to call a time-out as the quarter passed its halfway point and when the difference was already 15 points for the visitors. Upon returning to the court, the local team seemed to have taken the measure of the Canary Islanders, who saw how in two minutes they lost part of the advantage, forcing Jesús García to call a time-out and stop the streak. As the minutes passed, the difference of 10 was maintained until the end of the quarter, with the score 40 to 50.

In the last quarter, the island players were not going to be surprised and from the beginning they came out with a very strong defense and taking advantage of the counterattacks they were making thanks to the gap left by the Malaga team. The advantage was extended until the local coach called a time-out to redirect the situation. However, the match continued along the same lines, with a Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" that had managed to eat its rival.

The Malaga coach stopped the match again, this time with 4 minutes remaining and with a partial score of 2-13 for the red and blacks, who despite the difference of 21 points did not give the match for won and continued fighting as in the first minute. Time passed and the victory ended up being added to the Lanzarote team's tally, which continues with a firm step in the search for salvation.

Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" is in ninth place with nine wins and next Wednesday they will receive HGB Ausarta Barakaldo, a match corresponding to the 18th day of the Women's League 2 and which was postponed in its day. A match that will be played from 7:00 p.m. in the Tías Municipal Pavilion.
