Many goals and intensity in the match played by Unión Sur Yaiza and U.D. Lanzarote on Sunday morning that finally ended in a draw.
The match started; with much respect between both contenders. A first half where there were not many goal opportunities where, the southern team, somewhat more intense during the first minutes, knew how to take advantage of their attacking actions.
Thus, when the 16th minute of the match was passing and, after a loss by U.D. Lanzarote in the center of the field, a cross from Javi Melián was finished off by Rami, becoming the first goal of the match. After the goal, the visiting team tried to stretch and had some offensive action through Rosmen or Álex Yúnes but the local team was solid. In addition, the southern team managed to score their second goal when the 35th minute of the match was passing after the execution of a free kick from the right vertex of the front of the area that was finished off by Adrián Barrera. It was 2 to 0. With this result, the first 45 minutes came to an end.
The second half began, U.S. Yaiza tried to maintain the result while U.D. Lanzarote came out with greater concentration and intensity, which allowed them to equalize the score during the first 10 minutes of the second half. Thus, a corner kick executed by Nico from the right was introduced into his own goal by Adrián Barrera in the 51st minute of the match. Shortly after, in the 54th minute, Rosmen scored the two-two taking advantage and finishing off a loose ball inside the local area.
After the tie, Maxi Barrera's team took control of the ball and looked for the winning goal. Thus, when the 65th minute of the match was passing, Rosmen scored a goal by lifting a ball in front of the local goalkeeper's exit, which, however, was disallowed as the referee understood that he extended his foot excessively and indicated dangerous play in front of Ruymán's exit. Later, the southern team claimed a possible penalty as they understood that a ball inside the area could have been touched with his hand by Josito Padilla. Nothing punishable was indicated by the referee.
The 74th minute of the match was passing when U.D. Lanzarote managed to turn the score around after a shot by Nico, from inside the area. It was 2 to 3. The visiting team tried to keep the ball under control to safeguard their lead while U.S. Yaiza tried to generate some offensive action in search of the equalizer. Thus, Javi Melián, in the 82nd minute of the match, took a ball from the left vertex of the front of the southern attack area and executed a beautiful shot that the visiting goalkeeper Alejandro could do little about. It was 3 to 3.
Many goals in a match that maintained its excitement until the last second. Thus, when the 92nd minute of the match was passing, Miguel Gómez executed a shot from outside the area that was rejected by the goalkeeper, the loose ball was taken advantage of by Rosmen to score but the goal was disallowed as the referee understood that the forward was offside. With a draw of 3 goals, the 90 minutes came to an end.
