On November 22, the match between UD Gran Tarajal and UD Lanzarote, corresponding to the 5th matchday of the Las Palmas group of the Third Division, had to be played, but a breakdown in the boat that was to transfer the rojillo team to Fuerteventura prevented the trip. Despite the obvious circumstances, the Majorera team presented allegations claiming an unjustified absence of UD Lanzarote.

UD Gran Tarajal based its allegations on three aspects. Firstly, it accused UD Lanzarote of an evident lack of care in fulfilling its obligation to appear in the match that was to be played. Secondly, it detailed that there were other options to travel to Fuerteventura. And finally, it accused the rojillo team of incorrect, inadequate and insufficient action, arguing that the rival had some casualties due to injury.

The Competition Committee forwarded the claim made by UD Gran Tarajal to UD Lanzarote and gave it a period of three working days to present allegations. In the letter sent by the rojillo club, it provided certificates from the Naviera Armas company and Puertos Canarios, which accredit the breakdown of the boat and that no other had a boat to make the trip in time.

The Competition Judge explained that it is "evident that the fact of not appearing at the corresponding place, date and official time is due to the cancellation of the journey of the Armas company's boat that should have arrived in time for the dispute of the match". In addition, she pointed out that it is "evident that said delay is neither responsible, nor could the aforementioned club have foreseen it".

Given these circumstances, the Competition Judge agrees to "estimate that there were reasons of force majeure for the suspension of the aforementioned match" and proceeds to "require both clubs to make the proposals they deem appropriate within two days in order to agree on the day and time for the dispute of the match". In case there is no agreement, the Royal Spanish Football Federation will determine the date and time of the match.
