CF Talavera de la Reina leaves Unión Sur Yaiza with no options

Unión Sur Yaiza suffered a harsh punishment in their match against CF Talavera de la Reina, falling by a clear 0 to 4 against the second-placed team in the Second Federation. The effectiveness in the final meters marked the development of the match, with Talavera taking advantage of the opportunities they had, while Unión Sur Yaiza ran into the good interventions of goalkeeper Joel.

Unión Sur Yaiza had the clearest chances during the first thirty minutes of the match. Cayena starred in the first, with a shot from the edge of the area that went into the hands of the goalkeeper. In a counterattack started by Trovento, Malick received the ball at the edge of the area, but the shot went close to the base of the post. Fabricio forced the visiting goalkeeper to go all out and a header from Marco Siverio went high.

Talavera did not forgive, scoring two goals in just three minutes. In a quick play, Cambra headed a cross from the right to make the first and Nahuel only had to push it in at the second post to make the second.

Emiliano Trovento once again tested the reflexes of goalkeeper Joel, with the Talavera goalkeeper saving with a splendid stretch. And in the last minute of the first half, Nahuel took advantage of a back ball to make the third, reaching halftime with a 0-3 score.

Unión Sur Yaiza tried to stretch lines at the beginning of the second half, with Trovento starring in the first dangerous play. Talavera sealed the match in the 69th minute, when the referee signaled a penalty for a foul by Pablo Bolado on Cambra, which cost the southern player his second yellow card. Isaiah was in charge of executing the penalty and establishing the 0-4.

A tough defeat suffered by Unión Sur Yaiza against the second-placed team in the Second Federation, which leaves the team seven points away from the permanence zone and four from the relegation play-off. We must get up, recover and think about the match next week against Cacereño.
