The Lanzarote team had a date at the Municipal Pavilion of Las Palmeras against the Asturians of Siero Deportivo Balonmano, in a clash where the equality in the standings was transferred to the rectangle of play during the first quarter of an hour, in which neither of the two teams managed to put space on the scoreboard, with a handball of much contact and with defenses with few fissures.

After the equator of the first part, Lanzarote Zonzamas managed to get a slight income that was extended to 4 goals difference, but Siero was not willing to facilitate things and, based on taking advantage of local errors, returned to place the tie a few minutes before the end of the first part.

Finally, a goal by Rocío Guerrero and another by Brenda Roger, the top scorer of the match, put the score at 13 to 11 for the batateras just before the teams went to the locker room.

Back on the court, the anxiety of both teams to win the match, forced the referees to exclude several players, which allowed the equality in the score to be maintained, but always with a slight advantage of the Lanzarote team, which at a quarter of an hour of the second half already began to extend differences and see the game more and more on their side.

The advantage, which had its peak in 6 goals, allowed the local team to make rotations giving minutes to players who had enjoyed, for one reason or another, fewer minutes throughout the match, taking advantage of that circumstance the players who had that opportunity.

The last minutes of the match were a formality, but the concern appeared in Zonzamas when Brenda Roger had to retire due to an ankle injury.

The match ended with a score of 27 to 21 for Lanzarote Zonzamas, which allows them to add two points and move away to 5 from the relegation zone, with one game less, the postponed one with Lavadores de Vigo.

The next match of the team from the municipality of San Bartolomé will be with Comercial Ulsa Hand Vall Valladolid, a team that lost the lead this week, and will face the match from the third position.
