Like the first leg (36-26), also won convincingly by the aurinegras, the match in Palencia did not have much history. Juanmi Pérez's team took the lead on the scoreboard from the start of the match, and as the minutes passed, they only increased the difference on the scoreboard.
With this new victory, Puerto del Carmen continues, with one matchday remaining, as the sole leader of Group A of the Women's Silver Honor Division with 47 points in 25 matches. Behind them, Meaño and Valladolid will fight until the end for second place.
Two players among the locals with 7 goals each, Sara Alonso and Valentina Estrada. In the aurinegras ranks, the Paraguayan international Fernanda Insfran made a statement and scored 16 goals to become the group's top scorer with 209 goals and an average of 9.09 goals per match.

For the coach from Tias, Juanmi Pérez, “the match came after a long trip, many hours by car, and the truth is that this fatigue was not reflected on the court. We started the match quite well, we went with high partial scores, and already in the first half, we had the match with a significant difference. The important thing about this match is that we continue trying to get new things out, trying to take advantage of these matches, the important thing was not to have injuries, a serious match, and I am happy after a very long trip, satisfied because we have won the match quite well in a pavilion where many important teams have fallen.

"Now to rest and on Monday to continue preparing for the objective, that on April 23rd we are with all the options to play a competitive match and with options. We have defended five one, six zero, we have attacked in several ways, congratulate the girls and we continue, two more points that are also important for the final calculation, we are achieving a quite high score that could become historic for the club and we want to finish the last match won as well, with a good taste in our mouths”, concludes the aurinegro coach.

Puerto del Carmen receives the visit in the last league matchday, in two weeks, on Saturday, April 15th, at 6:00 p.m., in the Municipal of Tias, from Rocasa Gran Canaria.
