Three set-piece actions ended Unión Sur Yaiza's hopes of adding a good result in the match played on Saturday afternoon at the Municipal de Yaiza. Atlético Victoria took the victory in a crazy match in which spectators were able to see up to seven goals. The southerners have gone more than three months without winning at home, a circumstance that does not prevent them from having the goal of permanence within reach. Atlético Victoria showed its great punch and adds a victory that brings it closer to the top of the standings.

The match would start in the best possible way for Unión Sur Yaiza. After 40 seconds of play, the team coached by Carlos Ramírez took the lead on the scoreboard. Dani put a good pass to the edge of the area, Antonio Yeray controlled and left for the arrival of Fouad, and the latter spliced the ball from the edge of the area to send it into the back of the net. The sphere sneaked in next to the base of the post, making it impossible for the visiting goalkeeper to stretch.

The joy lasted barely seven minutes for the local players, the time it would take for Atlético Victoria to level the score. It was the first of the three set-piece actions that the Tenerife team needed to take the win. David executed a free kick from the edge of the area, and the ball, after passing the barrier, sneaked through the squad of the goal defended by Doramas. The ball picked up a devilish speed, facilitated by the wind that was blowing in favor of Atlético Victoria in this first part.

Unión Sur Yaiza would go ahead again on the scoreboard after the first quarter of an hour of the match. Aridane was in charge of executing a free kick from the edge of the area, the ball touched the head of defender Andrés, enough to dislodge goalkeeper Dani, and end the sphere inside the goal of the Tenerife team.

As with the first goal of the match, Atlético Victoria reacted immediately and took just five minutes to level the score again. Joseph launched a corner kick, the wind poisoned the launch, and Doramas in a bad exit made it possible for the ball to go inside. An Olympic goal was achieved by the Atlético Victoria player and would be heavily protested by the local players. In the play that led to the corner kick, the assistant had raised the flag signaling the offside and seeing how the referee was not looking at him, decided to lower it and give the corner in favor of Atlético Victoria.

After 20 minutes of authentic madness, the game would be balanced until the break and most of the actions took place in the center of the field. In the extension of the first part, both teams were left with ten players on the field. Gerardo left his leg to Dani and the Yaiza player took justice into his own hands, slapping the Atlético Victoria player. The referee resolved the action by showing the red card to both players. With the tie at two goals, the break was reached.

The second half would start like the first. Before the first minute of play was up, Unión Sur Yaiza had an unbeatable opportunity to take the lead on the scoreboard. Juanjo's shot on this occasion did not find the three posts. The one who did manage to take the lead on the scoreboard was Atlético Victoria. Joseph started a quick counterattack, passed to David, he made an opening to the left wing where Héctor was sneaking, and his strong shot would end up sneaking into the back of the net.

Atlético Victoria would increase the differences on the scoreboard in the 68th minute of the match. David was in charge of executing a free kick from the left side, and the ball after passing a cloud of players would be lodged inside the goal defended by Doramas.

Unión vur Yaiza would not lower their arms and went in search of the goal that would get them back into the match. The locals had countless set-piece opportunities, with many corner kicks. Precisely in a corner kick came the third goal of Yaiza. Corner kick executed by Javi Melián, ball that reaches the second post and there Kamara heads to the bottom of the net. A goal that should not have gone up on the scoreboard either, as goalkeeper Dani was fouled in the corner kick.

In the last minutes Unión Sur Yaiza turned to Dani's goal. A period of the match in which everything happened. Atlético Victoria player George suffered a double aggression. In the first he suffered a cut on the lip that cost him three stitches and in the second he was knocked down with a kick from behind. Two actions that were not punished by the referee, with Cristo being the one who would end up paying the piper. The Atlético Victoria player made observations to one of the assistants and the referee showed him the red card, leaving the visitors with nine players on the field.

The referee added ten minutes to this second half of the match. Added minutes in which Yaiza had two chances to level the score. Antonio Yeray spliced a ball from inside the area, and goalkeeper Dani stretched to put his hand next to one of the posts and send the sphere to a corner kick. And in the corner kick, Aridane headed, being a defender who took the ball under the posts.

Thrilling match that came to an end with the victory of Atlético Victoria by 3 to 3 against Unión Sur Yaiza. A triumph that allows the Tenerife team to look at higher levels, while Yaiza remains in the middle of the table with 40 points. In the next match the Lanzarote team visits UD Realejos.
