The mayor, Eva de Anta, and the president of the Canary Islands Canoeing Federation, José María García, sealed this Wednesday the collaboration agreement that will allow hundreds of canoeists to be welcomed on February 8 in the capital's marina, with the celebration of the Atlantic Ocean Surfski Lanzarote.
The City Council, through the Department of Tourism, contributes 18,000 euros for the celebration of the event in its stage in Arrecife. Numerous athletes will participate in pre-Benjamin and Benjamin categories in 500 meters, Alevín in 1,000 meters, children in 2,500 meters, and cadet and popular category in 5,000 meters.
