Alfredo González González and Cristian Sánchez Barreto, sailors from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, won the Spanish Cup in the Snipe class, a championship organized by the Real Club Náutico de Cádiz and which included the participation of six RCNA crews among the 91 participants.
They arrived on the last day in third place and with options that they took advantage of by finishing fourth and first in the two races on Sunday, results that allowed them to be proclaimed champions with a one-point difference over the Balearic Islands sailors Jordi Trias and Cristian Vidal, who were second, and 4 over Damián Borras and Sara Franceschi, both crews from CM Mahón.
Alejandro Bethencourt Fuentes and Jorge Padilla de Armas finished sixth having won the fourth race, Miguel Ángel Lasso Lorenzo and Tomás Fuentes Berriel were classified 17th. Miguel Guerra Naverán and Luis Miguel Hernández Hernández finished 24th, Carlos de la Hoz González and Yapci Reyes Ramos occupied the 34th position. Finally, the 42nd place was for Pedro Ferrer Espino and Yaimur Hernández Díaz.
