Everything is going as planned regarding the 1st Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote Chess Tournament, which will take place in La Caleta next Sunday, July 10, starting at 10:30 in the morning.
The best chess players from Lanzarote will not miss the event and there are already approximately 50 registered, including players from other islands, who will travel to Lanzarote attracted by the tournament, in addition to being an open event, even for non-federated players.
The tournament will be played with rapid games of 10 minutes, with an increment of 2 seconds per move, to accelerate the movements and give it more dynamism and excitement.
Registration for the tournament will be open until 10:15 a.m., that is, 15 minutes before the start of the event and is only 15 ? for all participants, obtaining the right to win prizes, enjoy a barbecue at the end of the tournament (with drinks included), an entrance to the Spa Circuit of the Hotel Hesperia Lanzarote (valid for one month and valued at 25 ?) and the right to enjoy the pools all day of the tournament. Companions will also have the right, for only 5 ?, to the barbecue with drinks included, as well as the use of the Hotel's pools.
The organizers have also considered the possibility that participants can stay at the Hotel on Saturday night and enjoy the tournament the following morning, obtaining special prices on half-board accommodation.
