Operation `Unión´, carried out by the U.C.O since May 25 in Lanzarote, has served to bring to light what has been known for a long time. Since we saw the operations in Marbella in the news, the people of Lanzarote expected something like this. Many say that they have gone too far, that it is a movie, but in my opinion they have not gone too far and rather a short film has been shot.

Since we were little in school they teach us that the righteous pay for the sinner and that everyone is punished for some. They also instill in us respect, tolerance, honesty and we learn that it is not enough to be fair and that we must also appear to be. Well, unfortunately our political class did not go to school and, if they did, they did not pay attention to the principle of education.

Society should punish this miserable and cacique political class. Let's change politicians once and for all because it is not enough for the lists to run, since the same people will remain in the committees. Let's give early retirement to all those who have governed our institutions in the last 20 years. It is time to take a step forward, not to look back and for Justice to punish these politically dead cacique puppets. As always, it will be society that pays for their ineptitude, their incompetence, their lack of morality and their lack of human quality and their lack of scruples. Of course, with a lot of personal ambition, but without any global vision.

The island is like a child without parents, but who wants to have such parents. The island is going without direction, but, were we going anywhere with the direction they were giving us? The island is shocked. After the storm comes the calm. Let's have patience, let's have confidence, let's have hope, but above all we must have awareness, firmness, enthusiasm and desire to change, because now more than ever it is necessary and obligatory: it is a matter of surviving.

Each and every one must answer to Justice, let's hope that the response is firm, with a heavy hand, but they must also answer to the society that ultimately elected them. We know that within the parties there are honest people who work for Lanzarote. For example, not all of the PIL is bad. There is Emilia Perdomo who loves this island. In CC is Pedro San Ginés, who fights tirelessly. In the PSOE, PNL, PP, Alternativa Cuidadana and Isla Alternativa there are also serious, sincere people, interested in everything being clarified, waiting for it to be resolved, excited about a change.
