Dear comrade and Secretary General of the PSOE: I am writing to you in a public letter since to date neither the Deputy Secretary General, comrade José Blanco, nor the current Secretary of Organization ...

Dear comrade and Secretary General of the PSOE:

I am writing to you in a public letter since to date neither the Deputy Secretary General, comrade José Blanco, nor the current Secretary of Organization comrade Leire Pajín (twice), nor comrade Antonio Hernando, Secretary of Federal Municipal Policy, with whom Teresa García met on November 8, stating that we would have news from him, have answered even the acknowledgment of receipt where the aforementioned comrade has requested statutory protection from the Federal Executive Commission on several occasions.

She addressed the Federal Ethics and Guarantees Committee, who replied that since there was no evidence of participation by other bodies, they could not intervene, returning the documentation provided to the Federal Executive Commission to act accordingly.

Dear Secretary General, back in the year 1968 until 1974 a group of comrades began to work clandestinely to reconstitute the Socialist Party and the UGT in the Province of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, joining from 1974.

In 1976, I traveled to Madrid at the request of comrade Manolo Garnacho, may he rest in peace, and I established the UGT Health Federation, traveling through all the towns and provinces to be able to recruit comrades to join our UGT organization, at the same time we were doing proselytism in favor of our socialist party. We were located at Calle García Morato nº 90 where the Federal Executive Committee of the Party and the Federal Executive Committee of the UGT lived together. Before this we met clandestinely in Calle Doctor. Esquerdo.

I have provided a lot of service to the PSOE, in the Province of Tenerife, in Euskadi and in the Canary Islands in general. I fondly remember our beloved President Ramón Rubial, may he rest in peace, when he advised us in our conversations that we had to train to be prepared for when our party governed.

I always maintained a great relationship with Alfonso Guerra and Felipe González. In my family, we had ingrained the sufferings of having a father in a concentration camp for defending his ideals. I could never have imagined that the party for which I have worked, fought and defended so much could behave as it is doing with my daughter Teresa García, a young woman who is being sought to participate in the list of candidates for the Telde City Council in Gran Canaria, without political experience, but very technically prepared and the spokesperson for the Municipal Group and Secretary General of the General Juan Negrín Group of Telde skip all the statutory rules, make a covert sanction and withdraw the delegations that two months before had been assigned to her without any agreement or any initiation of disciplinary proceedings, despite the fact that at all times the Secretary of Organization D. Julián Navarro and the Island Secretary D. José Pérez had first-hand information on a daily basis and allowed said statutory aberration.

My daughter informed the Regional Executive Committee, of which D. Juan Fernando López Aguilar is secretary, who apparently only dedicates himself to confronting the Government of the Canary Islands, of the events that were happening.., we never had an acknowledgment of receipt, they only told us that it was barbaric.., Time passed, my daughter was removed, humiliated and ignored without any federal, regional or island body giving her a response to her situation, being separated from the Municipal Group and the work commissions of the aforementioned City Council, ceasing to receive for twenty months the fees that corresponded to her for her delegations.

It is for this reason that we requested protection from the Federal Executive Committee, of which you are Secretary General, on three occasions by burofax, acting as administrative silence. Is this the way of acting of that party for which we risked our lives on several occasions? Are these the ideals that we defended town by town or workplace by workplace? Is this the party that speaks of defending the weakest, the right to equality, respect for the rules and statutes of the party?

I sincerely hope that when you read this letter you have some response to it and act accordingly, otherwise, I might think that this is no longer my party.

I wish you a happy stay in Lanzarote.
