A catering establishment in Arrecife has suffered a robbery past 5:20 AM this Tuesday. This robbery is the second it suffers in a week, after they entered the establishment also last Friday.
According to what the bar manager has reported, located on Avenida Fred Olsen in front of the beach of El Reducto, the thieves hidden with balaclavas took around 1,500 euros of money in cash from the safe, which would add to the amount they also took last week. Along with the cash, they would have also stolen mobile phones.
The property owner of the premises found out that someone had assaulted the establishment after being notified by the alarm. Despite the fact that the establishment has a video surveillance system and an alarm with a smoke generator that floods the room to prevent thieves from being able to see inside, these elements could not prevent the robbery.
The glass entrance door of the establishment, which had a security glass, was hit with a blunt object and ended up in pieces. The thieves could not enter through the glass, but they did manage to force the door and access the interior of the property.
To the place has already moved the Judicial Police of the National Police to take samples.
