How far back in time is the era of not being able to contrast, the era of limitation, the era of State censorship and when there were two black and white channels on television. 50 years ago those "Saturday Galas" or "One, two, three... answer again" began, hypnotizing spotlights for millions of Spaniards who could only choose between that incredible novelty or the other channel, the UHF in which there were only a few hours of propagandistic news and theater, the latter all be said, through the amazing and mythical wonders "Primera Fila" or "Estudio 1".
The minds of the Spaniards of the late 60s were conditioned by the monographic television and the oppressed radio, being the scarce entertainment spaces offered by those media small escape valves that fascinated and provided pills of collective happiness. However, in 2019 there are television contests of all kinds that basically pursue the same entertainment 5 or 6 decades later, although now with an unfathomable variety and incomparable freedom, in such a way that there are sexual compatibility of geek profiles, dystopian Orwellian sociological experiments in enclosed areas or survival on tropical islands, talent discovery, voice promotion, imitation of established artists, haute couture and even people who try to be great cooks starting from not knowing how to boil an egg.
Unlike the last stage of the Franco dictatorship, Spaniards today have an offer, including the one offered by the internet, antagonistic to the one they had who preceded us only 6 decades ago. We currently live in the era of contrast, variety and the possibility of objectifying what we do and what comes to us through any of the multiple channels that surround us. And, suddenly and in the midst of so much freedom, Tezanos' CIS appears.
It is surprisingly anachronistic that, in the midst of the moment of greatest capacity for accurate judgment experienced in Spain, a public body, financed with everyone's money, arrives and tries to alter the intention to vote by manipulating the opinion of Spaniards, as if they were puppets. The panorama is disturbing, the government of Spain in 2019 doing exactly what the dictator Franco did: influence and direct the consciences and wills of the Spanish people.
Thus, the CIS predicted on November 14, 2018 that VOX would have a result of 3.17% in the Andalusian regional elections of 2-D, and actually obtained 10.97%. And so, the CIS predicted yesterday, Thursday, February 28, two months before the general election, that VOX will have a result of 5.9%. Although what the CIS has not considered is the maturity of the Spaniards and that between the manipulation of 60 years ago and what Tezanos is now doing, it turns out that we currently quickly identify the manipulator and what he intends, which is nothing more than to avoid massive empathy with VOX, disguise the socio-political tsunami it represents and desperately reduce the safe 26% that Santiago Abascal will obtain on April 28 and the corresponding electoral victory in votes and seats. By the way, I obtain that 26% by transferring the scenario of the absurd prediction of the CIS of November 14 and the electoral result of 2-D to the present; then I take the also absurd data of the CIS of February 28 and project it to 28-A with the same mathematical proportion of the Andalusian scenario plus an upward correction factor of 30%, responding the latter to the spectacular and incessant increase in attractiveness that VOX experiences as the weeks and months pass, without moving away from the demographic average updated to this day.
But, the real difference between Spain in 1960 and 2019 is that in the second no one swallows a crude attempt at manipulation, with the aggravating factor for the manipulator that, being discovered, as he evidently is, he will suffer the opposite effect that he bastardly pursues. In short, while it is true that no one can reach the category of a Michelin star chef in two months, starting from scratch, even if there are some who swallow it, it is also true that no one can swallow the dishes cooked by Mr. Tezanos, even if the recipe and ingredients are provided by Pedro Sánchez's PSOE. In fact, what these useless manipulators are undoubtedly achieving is to sink into their own ignominy. Time, already very short, will prove me right and we will all see a historic turning point in Spain.
